Dark Web Insight collects no personal data. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and privacy-respecting. No ads, no tracking, no account system.
Dark Web Insight is a static, read-only publication. We do not collect personal data. There is no account system, no newsletter, no login, and no checkout. This page describes what minimal data collection exists through our hosting and analytics infrastructure.
What We Do Not Collect
- No names, email addresses, or contact information
- No payment information
- No cookies — not for analytics, not for preferences, not for advertising
- No cross-site tracking identifiers
- No behavioral profiling
We do not run advertising networks. We have no affiliate relationships that require tracking user behavior. We have no commercial relationship with any company that monetizes user data.
Analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns — which pages are read, how traffic arrives, and what devices readers use. Cloudflare Web Analytics is:
- Cookieless: It does not set or read cookies.
- Privacy-preserving: It does not track individual users across sites or sessions.
- IP-address-free: Individual IP addresses are not stored or logged by the analytics system.
- GDPR-compliant by design: No consent banner is required because no personal data is collected.
We see aggregate numbers — total page views, approximate country of origin (at country level), browser type, device category. We cannot identify individual visitors.
Hosting: Cloudflare Pages
This site is served as a static export hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare operates the CDN infrastructure that delivers the site. Cloudflare's own privacy policy governs any data Cloudflare processes at the infrastructure level — primarily edge server logs that Cloudflare retains for network security purposes. We do not have access to those logs.
No Third-Party Scripts
We do not load scripts from third-party advertising networks, social media platforms, or analytics vendors beyond Cloudflare. There are no embedded social media widgets, no comment systems, and no content delivery network injections beyond Cloudflare's own infrastructure.
Data Retention
We retain no personal data because we collect none. Cloudflare's infrastructure-level logs are governed by Cloudflare's retention policies, which we do not control.
Your Rights
Because we do not collect personal data, there is no personal data to access, correct, export, or delete. If you believe your personal information has been processed in connection with this site in a way not described here, contact us through the editorial contact listed on the site and we will investigate.
